Beginning our Blogging - who will have the most to say?

We've begun this blog with the intention of sharing our experiences so far and those yet to come. The deal is we both contribute, so I've no idea what might end up on these pages - stay tuned for more to come

I'm Kristina, Allycia's sister. How incredibly proud I am to be sister and daughter to these two magnificent beings. It has been a long and at times and extremely emotional journey to where we are all today, especially considering Allycia is nearly reaching her 16th year...
When you are right in the middle of a difficult journey (called life) it is sometimes hard to even see the way through or the path you should take to find a way out. If it wasn't for my Mum, I may not have been able to find the way through and if it weren't for Allycia I would not have experienced the things I have to make me who I am today. In essence, I look at my life as being not about reaching a destination (which will inevitably be death) but about the journey-THE JOURNEY. Were not here for a long time, were here for a good time. Let yourself feel the feeling: love, hate, happiness, anger, greed, generosity, elation, deflation, selfishness, selflessness- as I do on a daily basis: I am learning to accept these feelings as being normal for a human being. Do every thing to the best of your ability even if it's washing the dishes-at least you can turn around and say 'those dishes look awesome-good job'
My family and my partner are the most precious things I hold dear to my heart and I am truly blessed to have them in my life and to be apart of theirs.
