We are running a little late but wanted to share some of the wonderful things that happened during the month. Allycia achieved an A- and a B+ for her dance subject at school and has been enjoying her weekly Jazz and Hip Hop Classes with Fitness and Dance in Caloundra and her drama classes with The Sunshine Troupe. One of the other highlights of the month was seeing WICKED at Brisbane's QPAC Theatre which has been miraculously "put back together" since the devastating floods that engulfed our Capital City. Allycia's favourite part of the production was the dragon at the beginning and the fact that the Good Fairy and the Wicked Witch of the West were great friends. Maybe that's because she played the Good Fairy last year in her production and is friends with Bree, who played the Wicked Witch! It has been a busy month with more sure to come in April and Easter looming large. Veronica has had an amazingly busy month with another one ahead.

The second draft of a chapter she is contributing to in a U.S. Anthology is off to the States with a big sigh of relief and there have been some lovely projects coming along. as well. So no rest around these here parts and seriously considering moonlighting as a taxi driver considering Miss Allycia's very busy social life, but it's been great to feel engaged, active and alive!

Allycia has been a Girl Guide for two years and has had the opportunity to make new friends and learn new skills with the help of her Guide Leaders, Rebecca and Marilyn. She learned how to put up a tent and how to canoe (Mum can so NOT help with these kinds of tasks.....) at a camp during the last week end in March at Kindilan in Redland Bay where around 700 Girl Guide came together from across the state. Allycia is currently working towards achieving her BP (Baden Powell) Award so there is lot to be done.
